Penny share dealing
63Penny shares unlock a thrilling path which should only really be followed by an adventurous investor.
As you always hear shares can go down in value as well as up but with penny shares there is an increased chance that the sum of money you have invested will vanish completely.
While the above warning should be at the front of your mind when considering penny share dealing you need to also add the flipside which is that the opportunity for growth is boundless if you are lucky enough to hit a winner.
When dealing in penny shares a life altering fortune could be just a single stock purchase away and this is the propaganda which all of the "gurus" "experts" and "advisers" will try to hook you in with in an attempt to convince you to buy their material or subscribe to their paid lists.
Use caution when seeking advice
Companies peddling stocks, advice and subscription tips services fill the web and will all promise you the world, they will all show examples of how successful they have been in the past and many will have some nice imagery of a man o his private boat, in the old days we used to call such images clipart before you could buy them from Istock. An associate of mine has even put up a sales page which featured the image of a stock market millionaire who was actually a random man whos photo was stolen from a Russian dating site!
The web is a great source of information, one of the best ever but as with all sources you need to analyse where the information is coming from and the motivation of the people who are giving you the advice. Are the people pushing advice knowledgeable or do they have an interest in the stock they are pushing? Could it even be the case that the advisers are providing intentionally malicious advice?
Before taking any advice on what to do in your penny share dealing you need to think things through and case a sceptical eye over any advice you have been given.
Having read the above you should now be questioning why I am writing this and what my motivations are. In brief I am starting a short blog on hubpages which I plan to add content to over the net few weeks, I am hoping to establish myself as an expert and build a decent readership, you will never be given direct tips or recommendations on here so you do not need to worry about a direct affiliation with a company, be it positive or negative, I hope to just build a portfolio of good advice and best practises that you can apply to your trades. Having this kind of project behind me will make my CV more interesting and might even get me some work down the line.
The most important thing to remember when penny share dealing is to MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS!
I have recently subscribed to the GS Penny share newsletter which I would like to recommend, you don't have to make any trades based on the information inside of it but it will keep you up to speed on some industry goings on and if you do want to start trading then there is some solid advice in there, have a read of their sign up page and if you think it's for you then it probably is. Click here for details.
If you do sign up let me know what you think in the comments and other readers will be able to take your opinions on board, it's a fairly open forum below!
